Welcome to Threading the Pearls!
Our understanding of the word of God is important; yet, even more important is our understanding of the character of God. The Bible, and in particular the Book of Revelation, can prove difficult to comprehend. However, if we know who God is, if we know His character, we can prove that our limited comprehension will not avert the word of God from being fulfilled. Every detail, every segment of every verse in God’s word will come to pass. Our trust in His word is built, then, upon our assurance of His character. Our study will show how God’s character is consistent throughout Scripture.
Our instruction is built upon the foundation of knowing God. For, God has revealed to us His character through His Son, Jesus Christ. His teaching guides us through every moment. For, we are to be Holy as He is Holy. If we love Him, we will do as He directs us. Yet, we are not left alone, for He holds us in His hand and walks among us. We are to be as one, united in mind, in love, and in voice, to bring glory to Him. Our study will show how God directs our character to reflect His.
Our hope is in the character of God. For, He has promised many things, and His character has proven that without doubt, every promise God has made will be kept. Just as it was in the past, so it will be again.
