That We Become One
We are blessed by having access to the most intimate of prayers: Jesus the Son praying to the Father our God.
Clearly, this supplication was for those alive on the night of Christ’s betrayal. His disciples, whom God had given him, were to be one as the Son and Father are one.
Thankfully, Jesus did not pray for only them, but for us as well!
