If you have an ear, Hear what the Spirit says:
REV 2:20-22,
I have a few things against you, because you allow that woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess, to teach and seduce My servants… 22“Indeed I will cast her into a sickbed, and those who commit adultery with her into great tribulation, unless they repent of their deeds.
ROM 1:3-4, Jesus Chirst our Lord… [was] declared with power to be the Son of God by his resurrection from the dead!
Last session, Pergamos exemplified the church ‘married’ to the world. Being seduced by the lusts of this world (such as Balaam taught), now we find the result of such a marriage: Thyatira. The ‘daughter’, or offspring, from the union of God’s ways with pagan, idolatrous rituals.
REV 2:18, to the angel of the church in Thyatira write, ‘These things says the Son of God…
⊕ Why would Jesus choose this title of Himself to address the church of Thyatira?
