Sardis – the church with a name: though, not the right name!
A church with nothing good said about them.
They have a reputation of being alive – but are dead.
If you have an ear, Hear what the Spirit says:
REV 3:1, To the angel of the church in Sardis write, ‘These things says He who has the seven Spirits of God and the seven stars: “I know your works, that you have a name that you are alive, but you are dead.
Let us remember that it is not about us – our name, our reputation. God will take care of us, if we do everything we do for Him,
for His NAME!
⊕ Jesus describes the church of Sardis as being dead;
How might a ‘dead’ church appear to its participants?
