If you have an ear, Hear what the Spirit says:
REV 3:15-16
I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I could wish you were cold or hot. 16“So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth.
Paul instructs the Laodiceans to be vigilant in praying that God would open to us a door for the word.
COL 4:2-3
Continue earnestly in prayer, being vigilant in it with thanksgiving; 3meanwhile praying also for us, that God would open to us a door for the word, to speak the mystery of Christ…
Jesus is the Word on the outside of their door, still knocking, still waiting to be let in! The Laodiceans had not followed Paul’s instruction.
